I recently dined at indian sizzler and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is absolutely delightful - a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was top-notch, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. From the fragrant biryanis to the rich and creamy curries, every bite was a treat for the taste buds. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The service was also impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure that we had everything. Upon custom request for desert, they served shahi tukda which was not on the menu.

This place has authentic Sri Lankan food from the eastern and northern provinces of Sri Lanka along with other Indo Chinese dishes!!!We love their soup variety and all the appetizers This is owned by a sweet Sri Lanka couple and the husband is the master chef who comes out with his great culinary expertise to this beautifully crafted restaurant.

Amazing buffet. Fresh food, constantly rotating, with a brilliant flavor. This is not just someone slinging more stuff into steam trays. Chef Kumar is truly preparing delicious and varied recipes to serve I was amazed at their Mung, thrilled with their Butter Chicken, and I must say, the Garlic Naan is lovely. I cannot recommend Indian Sizzler enough.

After so many disappointments with Indian buffets after the pandemic, Indian Sizzler is a standout for us and has become our go-to choice. They offer a large selection of Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, including some vegetarian and dessert options. The chef's use of spices and herbs gives each main dish a rich and distinctive flavor. Indian Sizzler offers a lunch buffet throughout the week and extends their offerings with a dinner buffet on Fridays through Sundays. At $25 per person for lunch, it's a reasonable deal compared to the cost and quality of other Indian buffets in the South Bay. The restaurant is spacious and lively with a full bar area. The service is attentive even though it gets crowded during lunch hours. You may be asked to wait during peak times but they usually seat you quickly especially if you're a small(er) party. For a satisfying Indian buffet experience, Indian Sizzler is definitely worth the visit.

This place exceeded all of my expectations: food quality, variety, price, service, and the setting. I'm always on the looking for good AYCE, especially as the options dwindle across the state, and Indian Sizzler is an absolute banging winner. THE SETTING: First, it's a pretty restaurant inside with attractive dark finishes; apparently it's only been open for 7 months so everything is kind of crisp. There's plenty of seating situated on both sides of the large full bar that sits in the center. That's a good thing because by 12:30 on a Saturday, it was filled with mostly South Asian families of all ages, which is an encouraging sign. The staff was professional, friendly, and handling tables quite well. THE FOOD: The buffet is unusually big. Like 20 feet of beautifully prepared dishes. The main dishes are thoughtfully separated with vegetarian items on the right and meat items on the left. I wish I was knowledgeable enough to name them all, but there were many I've never had at a typical Indian restaurant. Their sign advertises Sri Lankan and Indo Chinese food so perhaps that's the reason for the variety, but they did have the CA crowd favorites like butter chicken and palak paneer (with very tasty paneer!). I literally enjoyed everything I tried. My favorite was a spicy chicken that I think was cooked in coconut milk. There's one station with desserts, and another station with soups, salad items, and a few more desserts. There was also self-serve chai and peach lemonade. So much to try. And you can choose from naan (plain, butter, or garlic) or dosa (plain or filled!!!) from the server. THE VALUE: So the kicker? The weekend buffet was $25. Seriously. I thought this was going to be at least $40, but no. I feel like this is a temporary promotion-type thing while they build a following because the value is so incredible. Go while you can!

Probably one of the best Indian buffet in the Bay Area! 10/10 highly recommended! We came on a Sunday for their Sunday dinner buffet, which actually starts at 6pm. The interior is beautiful with all the chandelier! I want to first highlight the hospitality, everyone is so welcoming and nice. We arrive roughly 5:30 but they were kind enough to let us in early and seat us. It is ~$25/person for their dinner buffet (Fri-Sunday)! The food comes out super quickly and as quickly as they go, they get replenished pretty quick as well. Everything on the buffet line was amazing but my top 3 dishes were the paneer, chicken Manchurian and the Vidal curry! The buffet also comes with dossa and naan which is amazing! Honestly exceeded my expectation coming here because the service and food were truly amazing. They're located near great America and mission college! Do yourself a favor and check them out!

I had to come see what all the hype was about... Indian Sizzler is a new player to the bustling South Bay Indian food scene. It's solid spot; the place is Buffet style with plenty of options. At first, the immense variety of dishes can feel a bit overwhelming. Take your time and try a little bit of everything. Nothing is overly spicy here, the spice level is very tolerable. I don't have the greatest spicy food tolerance, so the level of spiciness was perfect for me. The food was good, but the service was a bit inconsistent. We had to ask for Garlic naan 3 times and it took a while to come out. Our water was refilled on a regular basis. Not really sure if we had a dedicated server / waiter as multiple people waited on us. The place is new, so understandably the staff hasn't sorted out all the issues. Hopefully everything will only get better. No issues returning.
